  1. Population and dissenters: Two hundred and six Families one Family of Presbiterians and one old woman who pretends herself a Quaker but very seldom goes to any meeting – no meeting house in Northtawton.

  2. Public or charity schools: A publick School, not endow’d, but the master <is> paid by the Lord of the mannor and the rector, and They are instructed in the Principles of the Christian Religion &c as the Canon Requires.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is a parish Alms house but not endow’d, there <were> a few lands given (by whome I know not) towards the repairs of the Church the rents are accounted for by the Churchwardens at Easter.

  4. Residence upon cure: I personally reside upon my Cure and in my Parsonage House.

  5. Curate: No Curate.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is perform’d twice every Lords day with a Sermon in the morning and a Sermon in the afternoon unless desird to assist a Sick neighbour or a Clergymans Widow but never left my own for ?licence sake.

  8. Frequency of communion: Monthly.

  9. Number of communicants: Five hundred [illegible deletion] and fifty communicants, usually about fifty, eighty or rather more comunicated at Easter last past.

  10. Catechising of children: Allways in Lent.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: There are no Chapels within our Parish.
